Are your forms approved by the respective patent and trademark agencies?
IP LegalForm® Pro forms are approved for use by the United States Copyright Office and by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). They are also accepted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
How often is the software updated; what can I expect to receive with each update; how much do the updates cost; and how do I subscribe to the update service?
IP LegalForm® Premier Service is available to all users of IP LegalForm software. The cost is as follows:

The software is updated four times a year, typically in January, April, July and October. USPTO fee schedules and forms containing pre-programmed fee calculations are typically updated in September. Each quarterly update includes new and modified forms. You can subscribe to our update service online, by fax or by telephone.

Is IP LegalForm network compatible?
Yes. It runs under Novell, Lantastic, OS2, Windows, and most other network operating systems.
Do I need a different CD to install the software on the network?
No, the same CD can be used provided you have a multi-user license.
The forms look fine on the screen, but they don't print correctly - what should I do?
Most printer problems are caused by an incorrect printer driver or by insufficient printer memory. Be sure your printer has at least 2 MB of memory. Select the HPIIP driver under UTILITIES on the main menu. If you still have a problem, email our technical department at support@legalstar.com.
How do I install the software to a network server?
Best practice is to install IP LegalForm locally on each PC in the c:\ipforms folder. Once the program has been installed, you can set the data path to any location you wish, including a network drive. The data path should never be the root of a drive like Z:\, it must point to a subfolder such as Z:\FormData\User1.
  To set the data path:
  1) Open IP LegalForm
  2) Open 'Tech Tools' under the 'Help' menu
  3) Enter the network path for the user in the 'Set data path to:' field.
  *Note- 999 indicates the default path of c:\ipforms
