you expect in a full-featured docketing program. The program includes matter and action screens, and tracks actions and calculates due dates in more than 200 countries. Many due dates are automatically calculated, avoiding human error. The program provides a number of popular reports right out of the box and includes a powerful user-definable report generator that allows you to create customized docket and portfolio reports.
In addition to the functions you expect in a docket management system, IP LegalDock™ provides several functions that only a practicing attorney would think of. These include the patented StarBar. When you launch the program, the StarBar scans all statutory bar dates (we call them StarBar dates) and provides a color-coded map of all critical dates. Green means all is well. Yellow means a matter requires attention. Red means you had better hold all calls, click on the square, and get to work! When you do so, the software takes you directly to the action triggering the alarm. Even the LegalStar logo on each matter is color coded to give you more control and your clients and your professional liability carrier extra comfort.
IP LegalDock™ uses the industry-standard Microsoft Access database engine. It supports security and network access.
